Title: DIR-655 and PSP issue
Post by: -Myk- on October 08, 2009, 06:36:42 PM
I am trying to connect a PSP to my DIR-655 and can not get it to work.
Firmware Version: 1.21
Hardware Version: A4

I couldn't get it to work on my main network because I am using WPA, so I tried to use the guest zone with WPA, WEP, and finally no security and it will not connect. I had no issue connecting to my old wrt-54G and a 310N.

any ideas?

is your guest network broadcasting it's SSID?
does the PSP possibly not like () in the SSID?
thats all that comes to mind.

I PSP works perfectly with my DIR-655 with WPA.

(1) What firmware are you using on your PSP ?
(2) Remember, the PSP broadcasts on Wireless B, so remember to enable Wireless B on your DIR-655.
(3) WPA passwords are case-sensitive.

Hope you got it working now.

yes, you need to make sure router is using wireless b. You may also want to go into the XMB system>network settings and reset them all to default, then run the network setup on the XMB again.
