I just need a program to flash the firmware by overwriting whats on the router and not uploading to the router.
I have recently received a used WBR-2310 and when i go to set it up, I go to http://192.168.0.1 and it wants me to flash the firmware. I've tried the quick setup and the way posted in the manual. I try to flash the firmware and it tries to upload and lags out. I'm pretty sure the person I received it from unsuccessfully tried to flash the firmware. I just need a program to flash the firmware by overwriting whats on the router and not uploading to the router. If you know of anything or have thought of something I haven't please respond.

Don't think you can!!!!
Press the reset button and hold it in to default the router's settings.
Assuming you can log in, go and update the firmware. If not, it's a door stop and your suspicion about a prior failed upgrade may be confirmed.
Sorry. :'(
I wonder if any of our unlucky crowd here has found a way to get over this?
