Title: Wireless Reboots/Drops
Post by: MooMoo on October 15, 2009, 08:02:45 AM
My router works perfectly fine, all the way up until I installed Windows Vista on one of my desktop PC's (which has a gigabit Ethernet built in).

Every since, whenever that PC is on, my wireless connection goes haywire (drops/reboots) on all devices which is connected wirelessly. The router itself does not reboot. It used to be fine, when that PC was running windows XP.
I'm thinking it has something to do with how Windows Vista/7 does it network stuff. Anyone have any insights on this?

Thanks!

If the wireless is an Intel based wireless NIC, that's more than likely your issue.  The last few drivers for the Intel 4965AGN what what caused the issue for me.  Rolling back the driver to the original driver resolved the issue for me.
