??? D-Link DGL-4100 won't talk to SmartStream 5100b DSL.
I replaced a netgear router that worked with a new d-link to get gigabit on my side of the router. PC direct to modem gets out fine. I set router to PPPoe and I have a good account and password. I logged into the modem to insure it was PPPoe as well. I tried changing the d-link to 192.168.1.1 because the modem is 192.168.0.1 but that shouldn't matter with PPPoe. Does this need a custom cable other than what came in the box?
