Title: firmware update question

Hello

On the US page ( http://www.dlink.com/products/?pid=DES-1228 ) the latest firmware version is 1.11.01, and it is newer than the firmware found on the uk and east europe site (version is 1.10.12)

My switch is bought from Bulgaria (East Europe). Is it correct to update it with the latest version from US site?

I can't recommend this unfortunately. I have no idea if it would work or not, but using FW for another continent can be a risky proposal.  If you have a problem with the latest European code then you might look down this sort of a path.  But to do it before we have identified product failures in your environment is premature.
