Hardware Version: B1
Firmware Version: 2.01EU
My SIP setup (Asterisk) is dead. Worked perfectly fine behind a WRT54GL with Tomato. I am using the exact same settings.
Any fixes I should try before sending this POS back?
Thank you!

I have a Trixbox PBX setup in my house on the exact same router. I found that Port Forwarding SUCKS and does not work.
I had to use a Virtual Server... Just set your internal AND external ports to 5060 and point it to your PBX.

The 5060 is already set as a virtual server. The problem is that the range 10000-20000 (for RTP) can only be port-forwarded (and not virtual server-ed) being a RANGE. That's the only difference between virtual servers and port forwards on this router. It's probably what's not working.
Looks like the Trixbox (also using a Trixbox) connects to the external VOIP provider, calls initiate but don't actually go through.
What hardware/firmware do you have?

Also, if you don't mind, what is your (ALG) Configuration? It's in Firewall settings.
Thanks!

I'm using a basic Intel Atom desktop POS for my PBX... don't need a lot for a home phone.
I'm using Linksys SPA-941 telephones
I'm using Server 2003 for DHCP and DNS
I use CallCentric for my VoIP provider
I DO NOT NEED TO USE RTP servers
the only port I have open for sip is 5060.

What hardware/firmware revision do you have on your DIR-825?

Just bought my 825 a week ago and I'm using what came on it. I don't have access to it right now so I can't say for sure.

OK, I fixed it. Downgrading to the 2.00EU firmware AND making sure I have SIP ALG in Firewall Settings (instead of forwarding RTP ports) did the trick.
Now I will wait for an updated firmware to fix this issue in 2.01EU...

Nice. Yeah I wasn't sure what all the problems were about but I guess it totally has to do with the revision. Mine worked perfectly right out of the box. SIP AGL was checked for me already.

Honestly, now that I managed to fix it, I don't dare touch it. :) I'll wait until the official (non-beta) 2.02 is released.
BTW, do you have any resolution for my other thread about Website Filtering not working?
Thanks!
