I contacted D-Link Support and complained about my router reboots and before they responded I tried the beta version ftp://ftp.dlink.com/Gateway/dir655/Beta/Firmware/dir655_fw_132b04NA_beta01.zip then did a factory settings default and disabled securespot. My router is about 95% stable at this time.
This was Supports response:
We appreciate your writting to us.
Based on the description in the email, we would like to know whether you are facing drops with wired or wireless.
Secondly we would like to know your older H/W and F/W version and from which site you have downloaded the firmware.
Also whether you are using cable or DSL modem.
Kindly try the following steps and check, if the issue persists revert back to us with above information.
The following reset procedure will completely restore the default settings on the router including your password.
Step 1: Locate the Factory Reset pinhole on the back of the unit.
Step 2: With the router powered on, press and hold the Reset button.
Step 3: Hold the Reset button for about 30 seconds.
Step 4: Release the Reset button.
Step 5: The device is now at factory defaults.

I second your opinion dude since I just update the router with the beta you provided. The router web interface seem to load faster with this firmware. Right now, I have almost every features enable except the securespot and I am crossing my finger for this router to be like this for months to come.

I am taking my word back. I'll just wait until Monday when them level 3 techs or tech call me to see if they can solve my issue. For now, I'll used this until I have money for a new router.

doesn't work for me, still reboots upon openning certain p2p program
-
I am still motoring the router activity. As far as for now, this beta firmware really help my wireless reception. The wireless signal increased a few percent compare to 1.32 final firmware. However, I still have the disconnect wireless once in awhile. I do not do p2p program so my problem does not lie there. Hope the level 3 technician have the answer to my problem.

You do realise that the beta code as stated in the beta thread, only fixes shareport problems. Any problems that may have appeared to be solved while loading this firmware is most likely coincidential.
A re-flash or wiping of the settings is probabaly all that was needed.

A re-flash or wiping of the settings is probabaly all that was needed.
As has been said a zillion times over the past few months... ;)

"A re-flash or wiping of the settings is probabaly all that was needed" I have done this many times but it never solve my issues.

Since I have upgraded to the to the beta I was rebooting my Dlink every 1 to 3 days. I would lose both wireless and wired connection to the unit. The only thing different is the beta version of 1.32na to the released ver 1.32na on the web site. All of the setting are the same. Unit has been rock steady (knock on wood) 9 days without issues. Good Luck!!

Put down the bottle and try explaining yourself.
??? ??? ???
So, you have been rebooting since you have upgraded to the beta. And the unit has been rock steady for 9 days.
You are contradicting yourself.

I think he meant he was rebooting every 1-3 days until he put in the new beta 1.32na firmware. Aft the update his router no longer needed to reboot.
