Only one user at a time can access the hard drive i have hanging from my DIR-825?

Does that seem a little crippled for something that claims to be Network Attached Storage? Is there a workaround for this? Or do i need a different piece of hardware than this router? The plan was to use this drive as a music server for the various computers and listening stations around the house, but if only one user at a time can connect, that pretty much limits the value for me.
