More and more frequently I find that my web browsers are constantly hanging or timing out. I have tried Chrome, Firefox, and IE. The problem exists with all of them. Sometimes I will load a page fine, and other times it will just hang there with the browsers icon indicating it is refreshing or searching or whatever it needs to do.
I have tried directly connecting my comp in to another router as well as the modem itself. The problem does not exist when I take these steps. However I like this router and would like to continue using it.
My research shows that it has to do with the dns relay and/or advanced dns. I have read that disabling these two will solve the problem and I have read they will cause more problems. What should I do?
Also in my network settings the dns relay check box is check and greyed out. Meaning that it is on, but I am unable to turn it off if I want to. Is that normal?
Thanks and sorry for all the text.

You'll have to turn off DNS relay to get rid of any connection loss. I forgot why it gets greyed out like that, but it's a simple fix.
I turned mine off almost a month ago and haven't had a single problem. I run the latest firmware, too
