Title: First time using Dlink 1522 and trying to set up bridge to router for satellite
Post by: Horvs on November 01, 2009, 11:00:48 AM
I purchased a 1522 yesterday in hopes of hooking up a wireless bridge between my satellite system and my Linksys router (model WRT54G).  They will be located on 2 different floors (one above the other) and I have no problem receiving internet connection currently.
I've tried following the guide but am confused right from the beginning.  the 'before you start' page says to configure it directly to the last pc that was wired directly to the modem...well, i'm running fully wireless with a router...do i connect to my pc? my modem? or my router? do i set the button to ap or bridge or auto?  i've typed in the ip address to get to the wizard and no luck (i have int exp v8.0)...needless to say I'm getting really frustated....

Can anyone help me?  I'd like to get this up and running today as I've been working on this for many hours.

much appreciated!

connect a comp to it ,  set tcp/ip to 192.168.0.22    255.255.255.0 close settings . log on to dlink 192.168.0.50  you should get admin pages , after you set up  put your connections back to get ip automatically and your set to go . set to bridge or auto
