Can anyone confirm, will DNS-343 supports 4 x 2TB Hard Drives under Raid 5 configuration

I configured mine over the weekend with 4x 2 TB drives in RAID 5.  You'll need to upgrade to the latest firmware (1.03) first.

1.03 does support 2TB drives in a Raid 5 Configuration. As to your question in the topic, your maximum size would be 6TB of space if you had 4x2TB due to one drive being parity.

Definitely works for me.  Check out my specs in my signature below.  I have been running with this config for several months now.

ditto, i just built my 3rd unit with 4x2tb..

FYI usable space after format on ext3 was 5.6TB

make sure you're running 1.03 and have goof fw on the hdd's
