Title: Access DNS-323 from Windows Mobile 6.1
Post by: ao_tenshi on November 03, 2009, 06:44:45 AM
Hi is it possible to access files on DNS-323 using a Windows Mobile Device (connected through Wifi)?  I have tried and no luck accessing/mapping drive from DNS323 on the network.  But I am able to access shared folders on other PCs on the network, just not the DNS323.

If this is indeed possible, can someone provide a quick guide on how to properly connect from a Windows Mobile device?

so, I have never gotten my phone to work properly with the DNS-323 samba server, but if you use the ftp server it works fine- using opera browser with wifi on (total commander works as well, PIE doesn't), type ftp://username@serveraddress:portnumber/ .  A bit round about, but it comes with the consolation that if you are using ddns as well, you can access it from anywhere.
