My DIR-825 runs just fine as long as the power doesn't go off. Then it won't reconnect.
The hardware is B1 and firmware is 2.02NA. My internet connection is Bell Sympatico with PPPoE username / password.
If I reboot it doesn't help.
If I go back to factory defaults and reconfigure, it comes up right away.
I know the DsL modem is up because my wife's machine connects to it via WiFi because the 825 isn't available. Also, if I move the RG45 cable connected to my PC from the DIR-825 to the modem, it connects immediately.
Suggestions?
Cheers, Joe

I have the same problem. The only workaround I have found is to unplug AC power from both devices. Then plug the DSL modem back in and wait until it is fully powered up before plugging the 825 back in. When the 825 restarts, it seems to reconnect properly.

Hodgsonk, technically what you did is not a work around. That is actually the proper method for this sort of situation, or if your ISP has had to make changes to your connection(on their end) or remotely change the internal configuration of your modem.
While many routers will reconnect after a blackout, with the plethora of differences between ISP configurations there is no way D-Link can promise this will work. If joebedford was to call Bell tech support, they would ask him to do exactly what you did.
