Title: Win7 64 bit
Post by: Woomera on November 16, 2009, 04:57:04 PM
I've just ordered a new machine with Win7 64.
I bought my DIR 615 a few months ago , and installed the software on my XP machine ( Comp A  wired connection ) and the connected my 2nd wired machine ( Comp B) no problem.
Of course , the new machine will be the main connection once it arrives.

Does Win7 64 bit just recongise and configure it , or will I need to download updated software ?

Will I need to make any changes to the ' old ' Comp A.

Many Thanks

you really shouldnt have to change anything, your wireless router is already configure and the settings are saved to it not the computer. So even if you change your computer or OS you should just be able to connect by selecting your network and typing your key (that is if your connecting wireless way) sometimes you have to set up your correct ip address , subnet, gateway and DNS's. only do this if your not receiving connection or having conflict with ip/ or local connection only.

Many thanks for the reply. Currently , I only have the 2 wired connections , no wireless , so I guess that means I'm OK ?
