Title: 604T Router/Modem serving own page
Post by: Davecov on November 17, 2009, 10:18:54 PM
Initially I set the D-Link G604T virtual server options to serve my website from a box running apache, and it all worked just fine.

However, I wanted to get remote ssh access to the box so I configured a User port forwarding option on port 22.

Rule Name: SSH
Protocol: TCP, UDP
Port Start: 22
Port End: 22
Port Map Start: 22
Port Map End: 22

However, when I tried to SHH from the WAN, I could only log onto the router.

But thereafter, whenever I point my browser at the router (from the WAN), instead of seeing my web pages from my Box, I see the apache test page ("It Works!") which, I believe is served from the G604T router.

Deleting the SSH User port forwarding settings does not resolve this problem.

Any clues?
