Title: Why does my 655 check for new firmware find only 1.21B08?

I have a DIR-655 H/W vA3, F/W v1.20. 
I am having a few unrelated problems and would like to upgrade the f/w.  When I Check Now for latest f/w, it finds 1.21B08. But the actual filename is DIR655A4_FW121B08.bin, which seems to imply that this file is for an A4 hw version.  Will this file work for an A3 DIR-655?  There doesn't seem to be a way to find the 1.22x f/w on the D-Link Website.

I see from recent postings here that some functionality has been removed from the 1.3x branch.  I have no need for Shareport, so I don't care about upgrading for that.

1.21b08 will work with your A3.
All firmwares are backwards compatible.

Try whether it helps to update to 1.21.
If you do the step to the 1.3x firmwares you can't go back anymore.

As you don't use shareport, there are no new functions you will really need in 1.3.
