I upgraded my DAP-1522 from firmware 1.20 to 1.21 and all the settings on the Settings > Wireless page disappeared. I tried resetting the unit to defaults but that didn't help. When I restored the older 1.20 firmware everything worked again.
Can anyone else confirm this bug?
Also, I'm still waiting for an update that allows my DAP-1522 to connect (or at least report properly) a wifi-N link to my DIR-628 router, when both are set for "N only". Currently, both units report a "Wifi-A" link?

Tis no bug , maybe try downloading the file again and try the update , do the up date through computer attached by lan , not wireless .
Should work . Have had 1.21 running for a month now

I had the same issue when using a non-IE browser. All you need to do is use IE...

right , FF dioes not play well , must use IE , keep forgetting that .

Ahhhh....so that's the problem. I just bought the DAP-1522, and I didn't know if this firmware was hosed, or that's just the way it works. Thanks for the info!

Does anyone else not find this completely weak? So far I am happy with the device, but I had to borrow a friends laptop just to get IE.... I am a Fedora12 user and have a MAC, but Safari wouldn't work either...

I can confirm this bug. When upgrading the firmware from 1.20 to 1.21 the settings under the D-LINK(Bridge-Mode):Setup->Wireless menu do not render properly. The Firefox Web Developer Add-on can be used to reveal the errors in the output from the device. As a work-around the Firefox Web Developer Add-on can be used to disable inline styles. In Firefox this feature is accessed through the FIREFOX:Tools->Web Developers->CSS->Disable Styles->Inline Styles menu item. With the inline styles disabled the settings are a bit difficult to navigate but I found that this sufficed to allow me to configure the device.
Using the D-LINK(Bridge-Mode):Setup->Wizard settings was not a feasible work-around in my case. I found that the Wizard was unable to establish a connection to my Linksys WRT-54G Wireless Router (802.11B, WPA2 Personal, TKIP+AES). The settings resulting from the Wizard configuration never seemed able to authenticate with the router properly. This failure of the Wizard is a separate bug but is relevant here in terms of judging the severity of this error. Without the ability to disable the CSS inline styles the DAP-1522 would be useless in my environment.
From the previous posts it sounds as if using Microsoft's Internet Explorer browser is also a work-around but this is likely due to some odd alignment of the non-compliant CSS and bugs in Microsoft's product. Just as a device that is configured via a serial port should use VT100 or another standard terminal protocol correctly one that is configured via an HTTP port should use HTML/CSS correctly.

I hope this gets fixed in the next firmware release. I don't use IE/MS, so please support FF, Chrome/Safari.

This is a firmware 1.21 bug, it worked fine in 1.20 even with Firefox.
I'm wondering why it has not yet been fixed...

I cannot agree more! I have exclusively D-Link products (makes it easier in some cases) which includes four DAP-1522s. Every other one (DIR's, DWA's, you name it) work with Firefox. I have to use IE on each one of the 1522's we have to configure/change the wireless functions (like which SSID to listen to). It is ridiculous! WILL SOMEONE AT D-LINK COME UP WITH A FIX???
