I've got a DNS321 with two WD 1tB drives. I've got network access control set up, and I can delete any file I want, except one, a 13GB .dmg file. I've tried deleting from a Mac, WinXP, and Linux box, and none of them could do it.
Any ideas? I'm on 1.03 for firmware as well. Also tried to delete via FTP.

Save your DNS-321 config, Reset your unit to factory defaults and try the delete again then reload your config.

I had a file that was created with a benchmark test and it used odd characters in the name which ended up being invalid. I could not delete it. Since I was replacing a hard drive in my NAS, I just backed up everything except that directory and restore the rest on the new drive. This was by far from ideal but I had no other choice at the time and it worked for me.
What happens if you try to rename the file?
