Title: Using DCS-920 as a webcam?
Post by: MaestroDT on December 07, 2009, 08:00:35 PM
Is there any way to use the DCS-920 as a webcam for general use with chatting and other applications?

I've tried out a couple applications, but they seem to only be able to route the "webcam" feature through themselves, and don't let me send it out to other programs...

I have searched for where to post this but am at a loss!
I have a DCS-920 webcam that has foreign firmware on it. Is there anywhere I can find or view someones configuration page in English to upgrade my firmware please?
Thanks ::)

I got the correct English firmware from Dlink. Just need to work out the remote recording software! :)
