The NFS addon is bad...
Thank You!
Its bad? Meaning its not working for you? And your thanking me? :)
-
I mean in the NFS addon rar file, I found the firefly package file.
-
It is fixed now.
-
Is there any description of what these addons do?
PS: Maybe you guys could make an addon that would fix the problem when trying to download/open MS office files. It's really hell since my main usage for the DNS is document sharing (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=9116.0)

Thanks,
The original one posted was from July or Beginning of august. There have been changes since then so no it is not the same version.
-
Ok, so I'll need to reinstall it. Thanks!

Great! I'll try it. The older BT addon prevented my 323 from sleeping.

I've been looking around, isn't there any description or something for the addons?
Like what is 'bonjour' addon??
I've even tryed to download them and check the read-me, but no info on what they do.

What is Bonjour: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bonjour_%28software%29

Firefly iTunes Server does not seem to work.
I installed it, and the addon shows as running in addons section. in the iTunes section, when I click the 'launch interface' button, I get a notification "Initializing Firefly database, please wait" and nothing happens other than what looks like a refresh of the green Dlink banner. Within iTunes, no shared library shows up.
I am using Firefox on a MacBook Pro normally but also tried Safari 4 with the same result.
Thanks,
Tyson

How quickly did you try to access it? The first load of iTunes can take a few minutes depending how extensive your library is.
-
The firefly.itunes add-on causes both my disks to unmount after a few minutes. I'm running the bonjour add-on as well. I can still access the DNS-323 after this happens and restart it. Then I turn off firefly and everything works fine. Turning firefly back on and after a few minutes amber lights for both drives (raid 1). I have about 300 gb of music on it. Any ideas? Could foreign characters hang it up?
-
Well,
It still does not work for one, but I think that I need to actually launch the interface to tell it the location of my library on the unit. This is the problem - when I try to 'launch interface', nothing happens - still. And for the record, if it is all automatic, I still don't see it in iTunes either.
Thanks,
Tyson

What improvements have been made with the new bittorrent addon?

What improvements have been made with the new bittorrent addon?
nothing functional or visible. it all must be under the hood stuff.
-
i don't know if it's just me but with the previous bittorrent version my dns 323 would run hotter. with the new version it runs fine now.

I am using 1.08b8 and the newest BT add-on and the 323 still will not hibernate with BT enabled. I expect that behavior if I am downloading or seeding but I've got nothing going in BT and it still will not hibernate.
Is this normal? If I disable the BT add on, the drives will spin down.

Has anyone else noticed when you go to view your downloads in the Bittorrent client it will dispaly "Connection to server failed."
I have to click this about 3 times before being able to view the downloads.
Also when a new torrent is added i recieve the error message as well.

I noticed and reported that a while back. Has not been fixed yet I guess.

I hope they do it soon as its really annoying.
-
Can someone please provide me a link to the Add-Ons, thanks
-
I believe this is it:
ftp://ftp.dlink.com/Multimedia/dns323/Beta/Apps/
The stupid board won't let me post a proper link to an FTP site, so you'll have to copy/paste it to your address bar.

yes looks like its an issue in this latest BT. In earlier version if i have nothing to upload/download, disk were hibernated. Now without any torrents i see BT service using CPU every few minutes.

Thanks for providing the link, it works fine ..............

You're welcome, someone else gave it to me just before that. :D

After I upgraded tot 1.31 BitTorrent was running, just as it was before the update.
Then I loaded de BitTorrent app and clicked Start. Nothing changed.
I loaded Bonjour and started it. Nothing changed.
Do these apps do anything at all? Or have I skipped a crucial (yet undocumented, as almost everything) step?

Are you referring to Mac's or PC's with this issue? Because if it's Mac's I know the problem.
