Post by: puffychw on December 08, 2009, 09:32:38 PM
i got this router las week. easy to install and working great.

but only one point, after using this router, internet speed got slower for some of sites. for example, yahoo(when i log in e mail, newegg, best buy)w/ firefox(for rest of them, really fast) and w/IE, slow for everything.

i'm using wireless G card. and WPA2/AES. auto channel. 20/40.
i have 54~48mbps all the time. it works fast before.

plz, someone help me.

I never use QOS .. Also check your DNS servers.. May be slow.. I use OpenDNS.. Not my ISP dns servers..

Also if you just turned encryption on.. This slows down your throughput due to overhead of packets..
