Hi!
Following Problem:
I've got a folder called 'Music', which contains 4 mp3's:
01 - Cccc.mp3
02 - Aaaa.mp3
03 - Dddd.mp3
04 - Bbbb.mp3
These files are tagged with ID3v1 & ID3v2.
But everytime i want to play these files with my MusicPal (or my DSM510) they are show in these order:
Aaaa
Bbbb
Cccc
Dddd
Looks like ID3-tags are used, but the Tracknumber-Tag is ignored...?!?
Is this only my problem or is it a bug?
Thanks,
paulbrause

Hasn't it been doing this on all firmware versions? The file is served via the ID3 tag file name. Change the tag name to 01 - Cccc.mp3, 02 - Aaaa.mp3, 03 - Dddd.mp3, 04 - Bbbb.mp3 and it will display in proper order. Unfortunately for audio it does not look at the ID3 track number.

Not sure about 1.08b5, but 1.08b8 is not serving genres or m3u playlists to the Western Digital WDTV Live (newest firmware) via uPnP. I can only locate and play mp3s via artist or album.

Hi,
thank you for your answer, unfortunaly i don't know, if this error occurs on all firmware versions, 'cause i'm using the build-in-upnp-server for the first time.
Do you mean the ID3-Tag "origfilename"?!? I tried this, tagged one folder with this tag, refreshed manually the server, but no success... still wrong order...
Unfortunately for audio it does not look at the ID3 track number.
I see, but i found now somewhere in this forum, that this "bug" shoud be fixed in the next release of the firmware... does anyone know, if this will be in final 1.08?
