When viewing a media server on the PS3, there is always a Video, Audio, and Photo folder when you first select the server. Is there any way to have my media show up in the appropriate folder without having to go to video-folders-shared folder-my video folder? I've tried using the PS3\VIDEO folder structure, while having the PS3 folder as the shared folder, but no luck. Any way I can accomplish this?

in menu ADVANCED
UPNP settings
you can specify the directory structure there to wher eyou want

I know that's where I specify which folder. However, to get to the movies on my PS3, I click NAS, Video, Folders, PS3, Video, and then the movie that I want to view. What I'd like to to, is just click NAS, Video, and then see the movies.
Setting the shared folder as the PS3 folder doesn't do it, and setting it to video didn't work either.

if your hard drive NAS structure is as follows
\\Dlink-++++++9\volume_2\VIDEO
point the Dns323 to the video folder, not the root and you should be good to go.
I still have subdirectories in the video folder for each of the movies because of subtitles and sometimes more than one video file.
If you want to remove the subfolders then you would have to move all the video files to the VIDEO directory and you should be okay
I have given up on DNS 323 support as the product doesnt get updates at all and lacks in so many ways from what it promises. So I use the PS3 Media server on one of my computers and you can customize the directory structure much better.
I would post a screen shot if I knew how to do it
So you will still get the
VIDEO, PHOTO, MUSIC
All video, folders ( if you select folders you have 2 more drill downs) select all video and boom you are there)
PS3 media server does it the way it should be done, try it out, its free
