I have a Dual core 4 gigs of ram pc only running Windows xp pro and the Beta software Version ( Newest One ). The firmware on the DSM-330 has been upgraded to the newest version and the whole system is running across Cat 6 at 100 mbps . Its choppy and slow. The server for the most part crashes even when I connect the dsm-330 to the server. I have read I don't know how many posts about this piece of hardware but either Dlink should step up or DivX should cause damn if this is the way DLink hardware is going to run.. someone quick give me the phone number to linksys.. Divx people should be ashamed of such bad programming...
Anyone else thoughts on this as right now I have a Paper weight.. ???

Ohh and once again it crashes... yay....

Do you have this issue running the non beta server software?
-
Yes... Same error
-
If you are running any anti-virus software I would recommend disabling it and see if you run into the same issue. You may want to disconnect your modem if you are concerned about any virus doing this.

Are you kidding me... There is nothing..... No antivirus No Firewall.. Nothing just the program that crashes...

I would recommend contacting Divx support in regards to this and see what they say. Divx are the creators of the Divx connected application.
Try updating your audio and video drivers as well and see if the issue remains.

Can I connect the Media device to different server software ????
-
No. This device is designed to work only with the Divx connected software.
