Title: Is Windows 7 supported
Post by: ronf on December 16, 2009, 12:13:29 PM
I have a DNS-343 and I am planning to upgrade to Windows 7 from Vista.  I am also planning to upgrade my firmware from 1.02 to 1.03.  I would to know if other forum members have had success or problems with Windows 7?

Major problems if you are using the AD plugin on the DNS-343. There was a release of FW v1.04Beta that appeared to resolve the issue for some users.

Windows 7 is not without it's issues when using the DNS-343.

There are some reported intermittent (and persistent) throughput issues when pushing/pulling data between the DNS-343 and Windows 7 box.  I personally experience intermittent throughput drops (as much as 50%) until rebooting my Windows 7 box.  XP boxes on my network (using the same port and cable) do not experience this issue.
