Title: Stop D-View from loading at startup
Post by: in4sit on December 16, 2009, 02:24:39 PM
How do I stop D-View from loading at winows start up? I have went in to msconfig and don't see it listed as a start up program for some reason. Any other idea's on how I can do this?

It is an entry in the registry. Not for the faint-hearted. But if you install the new V3.00, you do have to option whether it starts at wondows startup. Also the auto-login option is now available.

I've stopped it from running via msconfig.  Look for an item called Bin.  The if you look at the startup command (you have to widen the column) you'll see that it runs the Dlink exe.  Hope this helps

Not trying to sound repetative... Why not install the new version 3.0 of DViewCam. There you have not only tons of new options, but you can also control automatic startup, define services to remote viewers and have a web-interface. It may not all be 100% working smooth, but it at least gives you a lot more options and control, compared to V2.0x...

Why not give it a try?
