Title: Wireless Singnal Loss?
Post by: sstrasser86 on December 16, 2009, 05:45:23 PM
I just received my router today and cannot understand whats wrong with  it... It shipped with 1.32NA and the only changes I have made to the router itself is turning off wifi protected setup and securespot. I upgraded to the latest beta fw (I think: Firmware Version :1.32NA, 2009/11/05). My wireless settings are mixed b,g,n, ch. 8, mixed transmission, and auto width.

*Every 5 minutes the wireless resets itself and i have to reconnect on my macbook. *

thoughts?

help?

When you received the router, was it in a brand new sealed box? If not, you bought the used router. I've never seen brand new routers come with BETA firmwares. Firmware 1.32NA is not stable and has problems. You should return it and get the Version 4 with firmware 1.21 OR any version with firmware below 1.3
