Title: WBR-1310 Worse Router ever
Post by: samgh on December 17, 2009, 02:02:44 PM
Don't Even waste your money on this router.
the only thing you get is an useless device, if you use more than 1 computer with it you just get disconnected every 10 min.i have tried to update the firmware or any thing you can think of.
same problem with 3 computers in my household.

Don't even have a good warranty on it, now got the Belkin with life time warranty and haven't disconnect even once in 2 months.

my new router is Great For gaming, if you have good a DSL or Cable Internet it can handle 4 computers to play on battle.net or any online server.with d-link 2 computers can't even surf the web.

Tiered of getting Disconnected from games just don't waste your time and money.

This Router is a piece of complete garbage. It works with my computer using ethernet. When I use the wireless on my laptop my desktop will connect and disconnect every 2 mins. My laptop drops it every time I enter a website. My router is in a good area and signal strenth is full bars. Wtf? Piece of s***

Sounds like the same problem over on the 2310 forum (over 22,900 reads now for that one thread);

which I have also posted on.

If your WBR-1310 hardware is Rev A you can flash it with the latest DI-524 RevD firmware and the router will be solid. I can confirm this. I searched further and found that from there you could flash to the DI-624 firmware and then even to the WBR-2310. Very easy to do as it's all done from the gui. But again this only works on the WBR-1310 RevA.
