Title: SharePort required reboots?
Post by: tecbox on December 18, 2009, 12:55:53 PM
I installed the latest beta firmware (dir655_fw_132b09NA_beta.zip) and was able to print to the printer attached to the SharePort.  However, as others have indicated, the printer works fine for a day or so and then I have to reboot the router to print to the printer again.

Are there additional settings that could prevent constantly having to reboot the router to use the printer?

I have the same problem and it has been this way since I first installed shareport June 2009.  I have the broadcast setup on the SharePort Utility 1.0 for a PC.  My shareport utility does not connect or see the printer on my DIR-655 unless I reboot the DIR-655.

I have the same problem. I have a USB HDD for backups. Before using the SharePort I reboot the router. And even that doesn't work all the time, particularly when backup take a long time on PC using wireless connections.

Any response from Dlink on when the Shareport rebooting issue will be resolved?
