Title: DIR-655 ver 1.11 as a network adapter or bridge
Post by: dndnark on December 19, 2009, 06:12:46 AM
Hi I have a dir-655 ver 1.11 and 2 lan ports no longer work so I replaced it with a dir-655 ver 1.10. Now I want to use the ver 1.11 to hook wirelessly to a new blu-ray player with an ethernet hook up. It's only about 20 feet away from router so I'll use a cable if this doesn't work. Thanks Doug

It used to be supported but after releasing a separate AP it suddenly was removed in the 655 due to "Causing problems", But all it takes it some rweaking. Happy bridging :)

A wireless bridge is something completely different than this hidden bridge feature. But hey, who cares about details...
