Title: VPN Split Tunnel setup to allow network printing
Post by: ksmith on December 19, 2009, 01:07:07 PM
I cannot access my home network attached printer while connected to my company via their VPN software.  I need to set my router to allow a "Split Tunnel" session.  The instructions say to make the following changes:
LAN SUBNET 16.1.1.0/24
Gateway IP  16.1.1.1
Subnet Mask 255.255.255.0

Is it possible to make this change with the DIR-625?  If so, what screen do I make the changes?

What VPN software?

By default, most VPN client software will always force the "local" Internet connection to your the "default gateway" at the end point of the VPN.  The router will not be able to help you as it does not control the VPN.
