I've read a huge amount of solutions for using/creating playlist for DNS-323 UPnP but still I can't get it to work. Probably I don't understand how it works so I ask this question. How should i use the path? I have created a "share" for UPnP "Volume_1/media". and under this path I've created a folders where i storage my different media, filmer, foto & min musik. When i create i playlist i use the following path "/mnt/HD_a2/Min musik/Various Artists/VA - Christmas Top 100 - 5CD - 2009/401-il_divo-o_holy_night.mp3". What should I do to get the path right?

Is there anyone that have a working playlist? What format are you using?

m3u are supported. Just play the files off the NAS in Windows media player 11 or 12 and save the playlist as m3u and store it on the NAS as well. It should playback fine.
Here is how the format of my m3u file looks in notepad

I have a large video collection. Can an m3u file be created which will play a random video within a folder?
For example, I feel like watching The Simpsons via my PS3. Up until this point, I've been navigating to a specific season and episode. Can a file be created which will randomly open a file in the folder "The Simpsons"?
