Title: Connect WBR 2310 to DGS-2205 switch

I have a WBR 2310 that has been hooked up for quite some time now. It works fine, but I want to hook up a switch in another room, so that we can hook up our Xbox 360 and a Wii without having to unplug the network cable from one and plug into the other. For some reason, it doesn't work. I thought I should be able to plug it in and it work, but when I plug the game consoles into the switch, they don't connect. I know that my cable is not the problem because it works when hooked up directly.

I would appreciate any input or suggestions.

Why don`t you use wi-fi for your wii and use the cable for your xbox  ?   ???

Did you reboot the router after connecting the switch to it?

If so and it still doesn't connect, you probably just have a dead switch.
