Title: Missed Call
Post by: kruglerd on December 29, 2009, 08:53:14 AM
I saw the post on how to disable the display for missed calls on the DPH-125 through port 9999.  However, one phone, which is not part of any hunt group is transfered a call from the "receptionist" roll, which is a roll that rings all the other phones in the building.  When a call is transfered to that phone, and the user hangs up, it displays one missed call, even through he didn't miss it.  Any suggestions?

Log into the phone by typing its IP address on the address bar i.e  http://192.168.10.10:9999. Select the Phone tab and click on Phone Settings. Disable the Missed Call Display.

OK, again, I saw that, but For this phone, I don't want it disabled, I want it to work.

Why when I get a call to the office (Receptionist Group), and then transfer to this phone, who's only user is that person, when he hangs up, does it show "1 missed call".  Seems like a bug to me.  It should only show when I/The Attendant transfer a call to him and he misses that call.

Is the person you are transferring the call to in the same group extension?

nope.
Receptionist group - All phones but one (ext 114), receives all calls (ext 100)
use Transfer - 114
person on 114 answers call
when hangs up, shows 1 missed call.

I have a "Phone Answer Group" (ext. 160) that is where the Receptionist (ext. 100) rolls over to if the receptionist doesn't answer.  When I'm forwarded a call from one of the people in that group, I have one missed call, too.
