Hello guys,
I bought this Bravia TV and I wanted to connect it to Internet. I have 2 Routers...DIR 825 which replaced DIR 625. I want to bridge the routers wirelessly so that DIR 625 works as a network client and DIR 825 works as a Transmitter. Hope someone can suggest the step by step procedure to get this done.

Once DIR 625 gets the Network, then it is simple.....I will just hook it up wired to the TV and the BD player.....

I tried to use the DIR 825's  "Connect to Another Router" and could not follow it in to-to.......It is not very clearly written or may be I am not so knowledgeable as how to make this possible without losing the existing  network set up details....I want to do it witout reworking the set up one more time. I am sure, someone Will have an Idea how to do this.......

I'm not familiar with the DIR-625, but it would have to work in a bridge mode for you to be able to do that.  I'm using a Linksys ethernet bridge to do what you are doing.  I'm sure that DLink probably makes a similar product.  The model I have is the WET610N.  It's a dual band device, so I have it setup to connect to my DIR-825 on the 5 Ghz band.  The output of the WET610N ethernet bridge is connected to a 5 port switch. I have a desktop computer, an XBox360, a Dish Network satellite receiver, and a Network Attached Storage drive all connected to the switch.  It works great!

thnx. RIck. I know D-Link has a similar product called DAP 1522......But I wanted to use the DIR 625 which is otherwise not in use.....so I thought if I could use it as a wireless bridge, I will not have to run to get the DAP 1522 right away. From your reply, it seem that I will have to have a bridge.

I am not familar with the 625 menus but if it has a WDS mode, you are all set to go.  You setup WDS and setup the MAC address to communicate on and that should in general be it provided WDS is supported.
