I'm attempting to connect to my home network from a Win 98 SE laptop with a Belkin
Wireless G Notebook Card via a D-Link DIR-625 Router. The Belkin Wireless Networking
Utility sees the network, which has plenty of signal strength, but states no connectivity. It
suggests an incorrect WEP key, but I've checked that the one entered is identical to that
specified in the D-Link Router setup.
Belkin Technical Support walked me through diagnosing the Belkin Notebook Card and claims
it is working, and that the disconnect is in the router.
Several other PCs, all Win XP Pro installations, are directly connected to the Router and
work without error.
I've uninstalled/reinstalled the Notebook Card software/drivers several times, all with the
same result.
I apologize for the clumsy description but I'm not familiar with networking technology.
Please ask for clarification or more information if you need it in order to help.
