Some Help

okay so I have a DIR-655 H/W A4 with the beta software. Router was working fine until I added a hardwired computer to my network. The problems I am getting are dropped Internet connection and crazy lag when playing online with PS3. When I unplug or turn off the computer that is hardwired no problems what so ever. Is there any setting to try to fight this or should I go all wireless?

Is that PXC doing something while disrupting the rest ? Downloading or something?
Did the PC give troubles before? Did you try a different LAN port on the router?

the pc can be idle or someone on it doing work over the internet. I have tried all four ports for a change but nothing.

what security are u using? WEP WPA?  also do u broadcast at 20mhz or 40mhz?  what do u have transmission rate set to? and which channel are u broadcasting on?

I read another thread with someone having this problem. The solution was that SEP was causing it. Try turning off SEP perhaps.

Yeah, Symantec End Point. It's reported that having a PC with SEP while wired to a LAN, causes wireless clients to disconnect repeatedly and often... I've never used that product but you might try turning it off or whatnot. Let us know if that helps.
