How old is ur LT? I just worked on a fairly old LT and it's built in wireless G card that I just replaced could not connect to the G mode only in my living room. I could if I had the LT in the same room or close enough the router. So I bought a PCMCIA WiFi card to check and see if that was any better. Seem to connect better in the living room. Wonder if built-in WiFi cards aren't as good as they should be.

I have an about two year old dell XPS 1530. the card is a dell wireless 1505 which is supposed to work
with N. I might try calling dell, but I dont know if they can help me.

Might try a added WiFi card to the Dell LT maybe. See if there's any improvement. Let us know what Dell says if you call them. How's the xbox doing?

xbox has been working fine, my LT doesn't have a card port just a pci express slot where the current one is.

My wireless stopped working for a bit, but now its back, who knows....

I'm a little afraid to upgrade, because things are running pretty smoothly and my xbox connects wireless through N so far...

I'll wait to see what others say and then think about it.
