Heard user of DI-624_revC (fw2.76, No Qos, SuperG without turbo, 802.11g only, CTS mode none) found "Tx Rates" setting (Advanced/Performance in 624 menus) to have no effect (6, restart, measure throughput; 54, restart, measure: No Diff).
And that manuals and config menu help for Di-624 and Di-825 do not define/describe this setting in any useful manner. What is it supposed to do?
The user found one wired and one wireless clients not getting fair portion of throughput (transmission to client). The wireless traffic starved out the wired clients (Qos OFF recall). Seemed reducing wireless "Tx Rates" should have been able to adjust to prevent starvation (cap the wireless traffic, which is too heavy on transmissions to wireless client) but did nothing at all.
Can anyone confirm "Tx Rates" in 825 does do something observable and what that effect actually is?
Also if have observed improved client fairness, no starvation, in 825?
Similarly hear 825 manual never commits that dual bands are concurrent, seems to go out of its way never to refer to interactions between the bands at all. Not even in reference to basics like SSID uniqueness.
