They do not have DHCP or static mode. You can't reach them via TCP/IP - only with the provided D-Link Tool.

Mine aren't Dlink, but Conceptronic and they provide a setup for both static and DHCP setup. I guess the more luxury kind of adapters

Btw. I nearly forgot they are there. I installed them more than a year ago and never heard of them again - they are just working ...
Even if speeds of ~7 MB/s for a 200 Mbps adapter are nearly wireless level regarding the loss between physical and real speed.

Yep, that's the conclusion 

And to be honest: they work perfectly in each and  every plug in the house. Except the part of the living room where I needed them for my htpc
