Hello,

I've got a cable modem connected to WAN1 that's been slow because I'm using a lot of the upload bandwidth. I've been looking at the Status>Interfaces page for WAN1 to see what the sending rate is (around 300-350kbps). Is there any other way I can drill down more specifically what computer on my network is sending what, or find out what type of traffic makes up the bulk of this?

Sorry if this is fairly open ended, just curious what I can do with the tools I have (DFL-800).

Even you will receive and analyze logs from DFL, finally you can know only who is most downloader for today (period). Online information is impossible because DFL send by logs just messages about open connection and close connection (with traffic info) - no statistics during connection.

But, if you can receive and account information about traffic from logs (i can ), you can see, for example, information for last hour - it will be almost correct.

Using SNMP monitoring you can see real time graphics of traffic in interfaces, but matching this high traffic whit logging of open connections maybe help to detect lan users and protocols taking too much bandwidth.

Maybe you need traffic shaping to guarantee performance of critical applications  over garbage traffic

To base on connections count is not correct. But i will try to implement this kind of tool for test.

Finally, better way is implement traffic shaping to prevent high load of internet connection.
