Button on the front?

Recently, I've started noticing buttons on the front of the newer 615s.  Some testing shows these to be something like a wireless on/off switch.  Anyone have any solid info on it?

If your referring to the button on the SIDE/TOP (depending on orientation), it should flash blue when you press it. Thats a WPS button. It allows for push button setup on the routers wireless and the clients that are associated.

So does this WPS button start some sort of setup on the computers trying to connect, or does it just make the network Broadcast/Not Broadcast? I've seen the same issue before.

The WPS button is our way of making it alot easier for users to connect a WLAN client on their DIR-615 network, however the WLAN client has to also support WPS for this feature to work.
Imagine not having to deal with running a Site Survey and applying your encryption. Just hit the button on the side and hit the button on your WLAN client's wireless utility.

What type of security does the WPS setup? WEP / or WPA/WPA2 and does the Dlink tech support help with settings this up?
