Dude you never back up anything you say, so why are you demanding other people do?

Nobody asks.

I have, but you don't show proof.

Some things cannot be proven. But neither can the opposite party to prove it wrong. Although some 'facts' are clearly subjective opinions. Like that one.

There is no longer any trust for SS when SS works great for months you tend to forget it is even there (the kids might not forget it but I do).  And then when all browsing slows to a crawl you wonder... is it my provider?  And when you find out AFTER DAYS of intermittent on-again off-again browsing and after calling the provider who says all looks good on their end and being totally frustrated with your service only to find that SS IS AGAIN THE PROBLEM, and have to go turn it off... wait a few days, turn it on... see how it goes... probably turn it off again for a few days...

And then you get online here and find out the problem is widespread and not just you, so certainly SS knows the problem is there as well as dlink.  And SS knows my email address, yet doesn't email me to notify me of a problem leaving me and thousands of others yelling at our providers... I used to have a contact on the inside at SS who I'd call personally when I experienced problems.  He once said they lost several critical computers in a datacenter, no backup, had to rebuild them and causing everyone problems.

But does anyone more or less less from a company that boldface lies about it being impossible to back level their firmware when a 2 byte change allows it?  Hmmm?

I have never understood why people use SS if you have group policy and know how to set it up.
I guess because most buy the home version of windows which does not have the snapin.  ;)

I for one am very grateful for SecureSpot. Thank you D-Link for including it.  :)

Ya you can do the same thing with the resources built into the OS if you know how and it costs you nothing.
