Swapping drives from 323 to 321 - Possible?
« on: April 13, 2010, 04:12:50 PM »

I have a 321 (raid0) and a 323 (raid0) - I want to move the sets of drives from one unit to the other unit.  Will this require a re-format?  Really can't backup data because of size before I do a swap.

I'm doing this because the 321 doesn't seem fast enough to stream Blu-Ray ISO to home theater.

TIA

I'm guessing you need to backup, I doubt they'll swap.  FWIW, I tried to do that same thing, and it was no go.  Recently here, it was pointed out that maybe the right and left drives are reversed on the DNS-321, which may have been why I had a problem.
