Hi !
I am a new user on this forum, have just bought a DIR-655, to replace my Linksys WRTG54 (with SRX).
My first impression is that the D-Link has a lot of features that I have been missing on the Linksys (such as inbound filtering, more advanced port-forwarding rules and a lot of other options), but it seems like it dont have the same reach on the wireless part ? Have a lot of different 802.1g devices in my house - but now with a poorer signal quality (with same configuration and physical placement and so on)...I will try to replace the antennas from the Linksys (they are a little bit bigger), and adjust the antennas to see if that helps. If you have any help or suggestions (or explanations of the different reach) - that would be nice

But now to my question - I live in Norway, and this router has firmware 1.21EU. Should I upgrade to the latest firmware - and to a EU or NA version ? Needless to say, but I would prefer a stable version...
So - would you suggest I upgrade to 1.33NA - or keep the EU track ? Whats the difference...? And where can i download the new FW ?
Btw - when I search for new FW under tools/firmware in the GUI, it claims that it has the newest FW...(1.21EU from 2008/11/03)...?
Thanks in advance,
Pompel
