Finder Hanging Up
« on: March 29, 2010, 02:07:34 PM »

I'm having trouble copy large folders into my dns 323.  The Finder in OS X hangs up.  This also happens when I try to delete a folder.  Anyone else having this issue?  Any solutions/suggestions?  Thanks.

If this is 10.6.2, there are issues copying and deleting from a SMB volume. 10.6.3 was just released today, which is supposed to fix this issue.

Thanks.  I'm downloading 10.6.3 now.

Another work-around that cleaned up the folders was running the dot_clean command.  There's a terrific write-up at the following site: http://www.macyourself.com/2010/01/07/solution-to-finder-error-code-36-in-10-6-when-copying-folders/
