Wireless speed issues?

Looking at the status page of the wireless any clients connect at 140.  I am not able to connect at or anywhere near the 300 this is supposed to be able to do.  I've tried with my bridge that can handle 270 and i even went out and bought a new Linksys dual band adapter to test with.

Both show up as 140.  It does not appear to be bonding channels.  Is this an issue that I can fix?  I'm super close to returning this thing for the WRT610N.

I'm using for streaming HD to TV, so I need as much bandwith as possible.

And i did read the sticky about 300, followed.  Even tried tech support...No Help
