dIR-655/VONAGE SETUP

i AM trying TO SETUP THE 655 USING THE SUPPLIED CD.  While everything is being checked ,setup tells me an existing router (Vonage ??) has been detected and do I want to use both routers.  I reply yes and setup chugs away for a few minutes and eventually informs me that I have to start over and use the default username and password.  What is it looking for?  I called Vonage and there is no name/password associated with  Vonage.  HELP!!

The default Vonage box login I use is  router   password is also  router


How do you have your vonage box set up ?  Inbetrween rotuer and modem ? or hung off one of the router LAN ports ?

I used to have ine strung between my DIR and my cable modem, then I switched it around so now its strung off one of the router's LAN ports.....

Works fine either way....

Got it !! Thanks for your reply.  I finally sold setup that I did not want to use the old router.  Disconnected Vonage and completed setup..Connections were AOK.  Added Vonage to a Lan port and everything is running fine!!  ;D ;D ;D
