Guest Zone

I have my DIR-825 set up as an access point, Can I still use the "Guest Zone" feature?  I tried turning it on but it is still getting my private IP address.  I am using my server (and not the router) as the DHCP Client, so I think I might be screwed if I am trying to hand out 192.168.x.x Ip addresses to the guest zone.
