ya, you going to see dropped packets and errors regardless. I've seen this on various FW versions. Some more, some less. Have to remember this is radio waves and any interference and just general signal quality of the radio waves can and mostly likely introduce errors and dropped packets. This doesn't mean that system is not compensating and probably correcting as it's going along either. The network is probably re-acquiring the packets as needed to correct any issues. This is done in a split second probably. The router is just doing what DLink programmed it to do, report these drops and errors.
What mode are you using? Have you tried a single mode only to check for wireless drops? You shouldn't be seeing an restarts or hangs for wireless. Try G mode only at 2.4Ghz and see how it goes. Let us know what you see.
